Welcome to St Denys

Welcome to St Denys, the Anglican parish church of Lisvane, Cardiff.

In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic our church building is not currently open for public acts of worships.

But our church is NOT closed, it’s just the public meetings that have stopped. We have developed ways to enable us to continue to meet, enjoy fellowship together and sustain ourselves spiritually. We’ve attached our comprehensive plan detailing how we will achieve this over the coming weeks and months, read in full: St Denys Coronavirus Strategy

We will be meeting together online and anyone is welcome to join us. Our online services are as follows:

Morning Prayer 9.30am (broadcast on our Facebook page)

Morning Praise 11.00am (broadcast via https://zoom.us. A link to each service will be posted on our Facebook page)

Evening Prayer 7.00pm (broadcast on our Facebook page)

Reflection on the Evening Prayer Lectionary Readings 7.00pm (broadcast on our Facebook page)

This is a difficult time for many people. There is a lot of anxiety, fear and panic. We want our community to know that they are not alone and we are here to help in any way we can, whether by

• Picking up and deliver shopping
• Making a friendly phone call
• Posting Mail
• Collecting prescriptions
• Delivering urgent supplies
• Praying for you or a loved one

So, if there is anything we can do for you or a neighbour, we would like you to know that you can call on us at any time.

If you need help or if you would like to be part of our team please call Jan (029 2076 4310) or Ali (07866 587316) from our pastoral care team or get in touch via [email protected]

Please be assured of my prayers at this very difficult time,

Revd Jim Griffiths
