Portmahomack Mission Appeal

Where is Portmahomack? It's in the UK, way way up north. It's as far north as Kristiansand in Norway. It is a seaside village on the Tarbat peninsula near Tain. For more information,  click here.

We are planning to be involved in the running of the mission, including two holiday clubs, a parents' evening, and various other local events. Total cost £140 (the major expense are the airfares, if participation is heeded by this, please see Struan) We need our Young People aged 16+ to rise to the challenge and help run this event. I need to have numbers confirmed in the near future, by the 23rd June. Full and comprehensive details are available in the porch or see Struan asap

Junior Church

Junior Church caters for pre school to Year 5 school children at 11.00am service on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.  The third Sunday of the month is the All Age Worship Service

Little Angels runs in the Church Hall for the youngest toddlers and children up to and including those in school yr.1. We begin the morning in the Church Service for the first song and prayer and then move into the Hall for Bible Stories, games, colouring and sticking, followed by singing and prayers.

Disciples meet in the Old School, Heol y Delyn, Lisvane. This venue provides this large and lively group with more space for their activities. They look at Bible stories, play games, have discussions, and sometimes do craft activities as well as joining together for worship and prayer.

For resources we use material produced by Childrens Ministry. Our desire, as Junior Church leaders, is to share the love of Jesus with every child in our care on Sunday morning and to enable them to have great fun learning about God and His love for each one of us.
