On Saturday 2nd July 2005 a group of people from St Denys Church and Lisvane Baptist Church walked the route of the parish boundary of Lisvane. The Parish prayer walk consisted of a 15km walk around the outskirts of the Village of Lisvane keeping as close to the parish boundaries as is practicable. The starting and ending point is on the Graig where we finished the walk with prayer over the Village followed by a BBQ at Pant Glas Farm.It was possible to join up with the party at different locations and walk shorter distances. Also since our boundary lines are actually the Motorway for a short section and the railway line from Lisvane to Llanishen Station we also had a Prayer Drive and Prayer Train Ride people were involved with. Everyone was welcome to participate in whichever way they saw fit.Image produced from the Ordnance Survey Get-a-map service.
