Where is Portmahomack? It's in the UK, way way up
north. It's as far north as Kristiansand in Norway. It is a seaside village on
the Tarbat peninsula near Tain. For more information,
We are planning to be involved in the running of the
mission, including two holiday clubs, a parents' evening, and various other
local events. Total cost £140 (the major expense are the airfares, if
participation is heeded by this, please see Struan) We need our Young People
aged 16+ to rise to the challenge and help run this event. I need to have
numbers confirmed in the near future, by the 23rd June. Full and comprehensive
details are available in the porch or see Struan asap
Text the Word
Text the word is a service set up by a
former St Denys member Simon Marshall. Get regular bible verses sent
direct to your mobile phone!
A description from Simon of the service
and its aims:
At Text The Word, our passion and
prayer is to make God's Word known and loved more widely. We draw our content
from the whole breadth of Scripture, thereby encouraging Christians young and
old to discover parts of the Bible that may be less familiar.
After covering running costs, we can contribute
a substantial proportion of subscriptions to charities.
The service usually costs £6 a month but
Simon is offering St Denys members a special rate of £2 a month.
If you wish to take advantage of the St
Denys special offer, use the contact form on the website and let Simon know you
are a St Denys member.
